![]() Luckily there is a work around that will allow you to play the game still. I own Tron Evoltuion on Steam and found this out last night trying to play it. ![]() SecuROM refuses to validate Tron Evolution unless Disney pays them, so the game has been pulled instead of having the DRM patched out. The true reasons are obscured, but the gist is an expired business deal between Disney and the DRM's maker SecuROM. The claim that "they can't make anymore" is total BS. If you attempt to validate on the SecuROM site, it will refuse to generate a code for you. The DRM will then give you the option to validate off-line and give you a validation request code to use on SecuROM's website. ![]() Your attempt to validate on-line will give you a 'your serial is deactivated' error. What will happen is the SecuROM DRM will ask you for your CD key (Serial number). If you own Tron Evolution on PC (physical or digital on Steam), but never validated the game ever or reinstalled it on a brand new PC, you will eventually come to learn the DRM will not allow you to play the game.
